Bleach and Beach Pictures

For this months projects we made a magazine holder, to hold our cards.
We used the Sale-A-Bration Designer paper.

For our cards we tried the stamping with bleach technique.
Use a disposable plate and paper towel. Pour a small amount of bleach onto the paper towel.
Use this as your "ink" pad.

With this card we stamped the background with a bleached stamp, on the So Saffron cardstock.
Then we stamped the circle image in Versa mark ink on the Bashful Blue cardstock.
Added clear emboss powder and heat set.
Then we filled an aqua pen with bleach and bleached out some of the circle image.

The last card we made, we stamped the image with Bashful Blue ink first. Then stamped the same image again with bleach. It removed some of the ink and bleached out the cardstock too.
This was a fun technique, and you get different results on different colors of cardstock.

A picture of the kids at the beach in Harrison yesterday.
Finally a nice spring break day with no rain!

Hope you had a nice spring break too!

Cards from Pam

Pam sent this cute card to welcome Vanessa into the world.
Love this set!
For those of you that don't know Pam, she is my Stampin' Up! upline.
When you sign up as a demonstrator, you sign up under someone. You end up being part of a large Stampin' Up! family. Pam holds monthly meetings for us to learn new techniques, swap cards, and talk about stamping of course!

Pam had a little contest for us, and I was one of the winners.
She sent this card and a bunch of goodies to play with.
Now I just have to get the baby to sleep, so I can stamp!

If your thinking of  joining the Stampin' Up! family, let me know and I can give you more info!
