May's Stampin' Club Projects and Swaps

Here are the cards we made in class this month using the Elegant Trio stencils.
We sponged on Rose Red, and Chocolate Chip ink.

We made a Burlap Card that I learned online from Sherri Barron (see her card here)
We used the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz with the stencil.
I joined a 2 swaps for the Summer mini catalogue and wanted to share a few of the cards!
The first is made by Lisa Cheney (click here to see her blog)
She used the Stamp set A Little Bit of Magic.
Here is the same stamp set. This card made by Dorothy Seatter (click here to see her web site)
Here is the set Blissful Bride made by Linda McKenzie (her web site)
Here is the same set made by Ellen Baker

I'll post some more of these awesome swaps.... soon!

Mother's Day

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I did!
Yes, my son has green hair! It was for "Crazy Hair Day at school! (It took a few days to wash out)
I wanted to share the card I made for my Mom.
I kept it simple. I used my markers to color in the stamp (Inspired by Nature).
And to finish it off... some Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.
(Love that stuff!!)
Here's the close up. Really Shimmery!
Have a great weekend!

April's Projects & A Birthday Party!!!

April's Stampin' Club Projects

We played with the big shot to make these cards.
And decided to "dress up" our envelopes.
We also made our own button!

For this card we used the beautiful wings embosslit die.
And lined our envelope.
Makenna's Birthday Party!

I had my first Birthday class!
Makenna asked if I could come to her 9th Birthday Party and make a few projects.
I have to say I was a little worried with 11 girls and 2 boys!
But I must say they were AWESOME!!!!

We made a Mother's day card:
Their Goodie Bag:
(Makenna's mom had the goodies to fill them)
And a monogram bookmark.
Here are the girls:
And here is the card and gift bag I made for Makenna.
I had a great experience with the kids, and would do it again!
I'm sure their moms are going to love receiving a hand stamped card!
Working with kids reminds me that there are no rules to stamping! The goal is just to have fun!
