Update!

Time to update you on what's been preventing me from Stampin! We've done some updates to our kitchen. It's amazing what paint and tile can do.  That and removing upper cabinets, recessed lighting and a new ceiling!! Feels good to finally be done!
Here are a few pics to see where we started and then the finished kitchen.

Lots of work, but so worth it!

Wanted to share a little 3 x 3 Halloween card I made for the ladies in my last order
Now to get started on my Christmas cards!!

Jar of Love Bundle

I've had so much fun playing with the Jar of Love Bundle. So many options for these little jars. The first card I made for my daughters friends birthday. They went to see the movie Finding Dory, so I thought a fish card was perfect!

The next card was for the kids teachers. (Both teachers were female so they got the same card!!)

I'm sure I'll be making more cards with this set soon. There is a cute firefly in this stamp set I can't wait to use!

Mom's Mother's Day card and Birthday Card.

Here is my Mom's Mother's Day card and matching envelope. (It is a ticket card holder). I used the Rose Garden thinlits die. And my envelope punch board comes in handy again for a custom envelope.

My mom's birthday card was made using the Botanical Builder framelits. The White perfect accents worked perfectly for the centers of the flowers. Lots of fun making your own flowers, could play with this die for hours! Lol!

May's card class

Here is what we made in May's card class.

We used the stamp set Balloon Celebration with matching punch, still available in the new catalogue.
And the now retired, A Nice Cuppa stamp set and die.
I had a wonderful time catching up with my Stampin Ladies.

Time for an update! Yikes!!

My poor neglected blog......
Let's bring it up to date. I have some stuff to share!
Way back at the end of February I had my Masculine Card Class, here's what we made.
I was really happy with how they turned out!
My niece also celebrated a birthday in February so I made her this card.
Another one of my new favorite sets!!

We've been updating our kitchen when we can. It takes awhile when you work and have two busy kids too! But here is where we are so far!
Here is the before
And right now

Looking so much better already! Removing the upper cabinets has really opened it up. A new ceiling and lighting helps too! And lots of coats of paint on those old honey oak cabinets!!

I've got some more classes coming up and will share those cards soon. Oh and my moms Mother's Day card too!
Happy Stampin!

I'm excited to get started again after summer break! I'm offering two classes in October.

The first one is a Stamp A Stack class.
On Monday Oct 5th 7-9pm at my house.
We are making 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs) envelopes included! Cost is $25.

It's nice to have a stack of cards ready for the next birthday that pops up!
We are using one new product from the holiday catalogue called Iced Rhinestones. Here is a close up of what they look like:

The second class is on Thursday Oct 8th 7-9pm at my house. We are putting together the Witches Hat from the holiday catalogue. Cost is $33.58 (this is the cost of the kit plus shipping and tax). Please sign up for this class before Sept 28 so I have time to order the kits.

My helper and I had so much fun putting this kit together.
And just as much fun modelling it too!

Space is limited so please contact me today to reserve your spot!

Cottage Greetings Card kit

At our last Project Club meeting we all had a cottage greetings card kit and the stamp set to match. Of course we made the cards from the kit, but I wanted to make an alternative project. So I came up with the idea of using three of the cards, and the cardboard backing from the kit to make an album.
What do you think? It measures 5x5. So its just a matter of cutting the cards in half and cutting down the cardboard, and glueing it together.

I have yet to journal, add some more pictures, and can't forget to add some bling!! But this gives you a good idea of what it looks like!
I love this kit! By making this project you still end up with 12 cards! And if you're willing to part with the album, a gift to give as well!!!

New catalogue

I've managed to squeeze in some time to play with my goodies from the New 2015-2016 Catalogue.
One of the stamps sets I got is called You've got this. So I thought I would use it with my new Bag Punch Board. Oh and can't forget one of my favourite new in-colors called Mint Macaron.

Another one of my must have stamp sets is called Build a Birthday. I used another favorite in-color Watermelon wonder, Cucumber crush, Bermuda bay and Daffodil delight. I love the Cherry on top DSP pack, it goes perfectly with this set.
I also used in-color envelope paper with the envelope punch board to create this fun envelope.
Hope you are loving the new catalogue as much as I am!! If you don't have one and would like one, please contact me.
Happy Stampin'!!

May's Stampin Club

This month we got to play with the painted petals stamp set and painted blooms DSP. As always I'm inspired by Pinterest and found some great samples!
The first one is a CASE from Shelli Gardner.
To create this card we stamped on shimmer white card stock and spritzed with water. Let it dry and assemble your card. So easy! Love how they turned out!!
This little 3x3 card came together so quickly, yet so cute! Love the cotton twine too! ( so soft!!)
This next card was inspired by Patty Bennett's one sheet wonder. She said don't be afraid to cut up the beautiful paper cause you can get 6 beautiful cards from it!! Thanks Patty!!
And we also made one of the berry baskets to match!
So many possibilities for this stamp set and DSP! Love it!!
Happy Stampin!!
