Handmade Cards

I received so many nice cards this Christmas!!
Here are two that were handmade.

The first, blue snowflake card, was made by my Auntie Sharon. I love the present in the middle with the little gift tag! She also put glitter in the middle of the snowflakes! Love it!

The next card and double pocket was made by my friend and co-worker Dana. She put the card in the back pocket and a little present in the front pocket.

She used the designer paper "Dashing", and the stamp set "Season of Joy" from the Holiday Mini.
I love how she used the circle rhinestone brad on the top of the tree!

Beautiful cards ladies! Thank you!!!!

Guess What I Got?

My copy of the new Spring/ Summer 2008 catalogue!!! (Your going to LOVE it!)
It came in the mail today!
I looked through it quickly before taking it over to show to my mom and sister.
Guess where I left it! Enjoy Mom!!!

Anyway, I spotted this card in the new catalogue that used the set Snow Flurries for the ornaments.
Here is my take on that card.

My Family Christmas Card

So, hopefully no one from my family checks this tonight. We have a family dinner tomorrow night, and that is when they will get their cards!

I wanted to keep this card simple. I'm happy how it turned out!
This is the only picture (out of 10) that had all of us looking at the camera!

Merry Christmas!

One week to go!

The colors are old olive and purely pomegranate.
I've added some dazzling diamonds to the flowers using the 2 way pen.

Christmas Card Classes

Here are the Christmas cards we made in my classes on Thursday night and then again Saturday night.
The first one we used the Snow jumbo wheel from the Holiday mini. We used versamark ink and iridescent ice to get this look. Ballet Blue, Bashful Blue, and Whisper White card stock.

The second is a suspension card, made using the Naughty or Nice set from the Holiday Mini. The Holiday mini will be ending soon Nov. 30th. I used Dashing designer paper, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla, and Real Red.

The Wreath Joy card was made using the snowflake from the set The Snowflake Spot.
The colors used here are Real Red, Old Olive, and Certainly Celery. We also used dazzling diamond glitter and the 2 way pen to add sparkle to the berries.

The last card uses the spotlight technique, where only the circle is colored in, leaving the rest black and white.
The set used here is Flaky Friends. Soft Sky and Purely Pomegranate are the card stock colors.

Thanks Ladies for two great evenings!
I hope you all had fun making these cards!

Sunday with the Stampin' Club

"What are those crazy ladies doing?", You ask!

We put on the gloves to create this card using the magic snowflake technique. For this technique you use alcohol and classic re-inkers, over a white embossed image. Covering it completely. You then use your heat tool to see the snowflake magically appear.

Making cards can get messy, but sure is lots of FUN!

Thanks Shireen for the great pictures!

We took off the gloves to make this bow, made from Stampin' Up! designer paper. They have a great promo on for the month of November: Buy 3 packs of designer paper get the 4th for free!
