Christmas Open House

It was so nice to see everyone at the Open House!
It gave us a chance to catch up and get into the holiday spirit!
A HUGE THANKS to Barb and Michael for opening and decorating their home.
Michael made all of the food and treats for us! Have a look!

One of the many displays.
The whole food table.

The Prizes.
We gave out tickets for RSVP, bringing a friend, and for having random things like lip gloss!
You were then able to enter your ticket into the prize you wanted to win.
Our Make 'N' Take Table.
We had 2 to do!
We also had a few homemade gifts for sale too.
(Table is looking a little bare at the time of this photo!)
Enjoying the food!
Barb and I.
Thanks again to everyone for the wonderful evening!
Looking forward to doing this again next year!
Merry Christmas!

November's Club and Tag Class

I held a Tags Till Christmas Class this November.
We made the little box too!
I had seen a bunch of these tag boxes online, but in the end had to come up with my own pattern in order to fit the tags that I wanted in it!

We ended up making 10 different tags using all the stamps from the Tags till Christmas set.
It took longer then I thought to make, but was worth it!
Here are this months Club projects.
A great little gift card holder. Barb shared her pattern with me! Thanks Barb!
The inside.
My favorite! A Hot Chocolate pouch!
And we played with the Letterpress plates to create this card.
We used whisper white craft ink which can be a little messy, but loved how simple it was to create this card.
Barb and I have been working hard on getting everything ready for the big Open House on Nov. 27th. We have made lots of little stocking stuffers for sale too!
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

October's Stampin' Club Projects

Hope you're having a great Thanksgiving weekend!
This month we used my new favorite stamp set from the mini catalogue called "French Foliage". And I bought myself a brayer! Don't know why it took me 4 years as a demonstrator before I got this cool tool....but it did!
Anyway we used it to do this cool technique called Emerging Color.
First you sponge ink (more mustard, ridding hood red, tangerine tango, old olive, and soft suede) all over glossy card stock. Then you ink up your leaf in versa mark, stamp, pour clear emboss powder and heat. Once cool ink up your brayer in Chocolate chip ink and roll over image. Let dry and wipe off excess ink on the leaves. Fun technique!
Our next card used French foliage and Seasonal Sentiments stamp sets (from the mini). #2 leaves die for the Big Shot. Used some Log Cabin Smooch Spritz too! Oh and love the little brads that look like metal buttons from the Vintage Trinkets.
And Last we made a Treat holder out of the Candy Wrapper die from the new mini.
The word "Gratitude" is from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases. Spritzed this too with Log Cabin Smootch. We added a Lindt Chocolate Ball to the inside. (Wonder how many of those made it home?)
Thanks for a great time Ladies!
Happy Thanksgiving!

September's Stampin' Club

Here are the cards that my Stampin' Club made this month!
The first card I used the "Inking the Emboss folder technique"
We inked up the Spider web folder with Classic Basic Black ink and put our whisper white cardstock in and ran it thru the big shot.
Cool Huh?!
The second card is a case of Mary Davidson's card.
We used the "Post it Note Technique" to mask for the moon.
And last this is inspired by Dawn Griffith.
(I changed the size to fit the licorice)
And of course had to do a Halloween theme!
Wouldn't this be great for your child's class mates!?
Thanks Ladies for a great time!

I wasn't able to attend, but was able to donate a basket for the auction.

These wonderful women raised $5,000.00!!!!!
Isn't that awesome!!!!!!

(The basket before I wrapped it up!)

Summer Pictures

With so many great shots of the kids this summer, I just had to play with My Digital Studio!
It's so easy to do, and I didn't make a big mess doing it!
Gotta love that!

Owl Card

So I finally got a chance to play with the new Owl punch!

I used the Woodgrain background stamp in Pear Pizzazz ink on Pear Pizzazz Cardstock.
The owl has Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Whisper White, Real Red Cardstock, and Greenhouse Gala DPS. Daffodil Delight CS for the branches. "Gratitude" from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases, is stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink. That was stamped on Whisper White CS punched out with the large oval punch. Baja Breeze CS punched out using the scallop oval punch.
I also used my new fav Brights Buttons! and Pumpkin Pie 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

I really like the Owl punch and have to get some googly eyes for him!
Hope you have a great long weekend!

I used Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive.
Of course I had to get the Designer Buttons to match!
And don't forget the 1/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta ribbon!

New Toys!

I was playing with my new toys today and had to make this card from the new catalogue!
But instead I used a new in color called Concord Crush. I also used the bashful blue satin ribbon from the Summer Mini catalogue. I knew when I saw it, I had to have the Elegant Lines Embossing folder for the Big Shot!
Almost forgot that the "Thanks" is from the new stamp set, Fabulous Phrases.
It was so nice out today I had to take a picture outside!
And a picture inside the house. (You can see the greeting a little better)

I'm sure you'll see more cards with this folder from me!
I just love it!
