Tea light boxes and New stuff!

I made these Tea Light boxes as a Christmas gift for all of my Stampin' Club Members.
I loved how they turned out!
(yes, they are battery operated tea lights!)

I followed Carole Annes instructions. (please click on her name to see her beautiful creations!) I did have to change the dimensions, as I didn't have
11- 1/4" velum.
I made this card for my Niece who turned 6 this december.
I used some new products from the Occasions Mini starting Jan 5th.
Oh, and what a great Mini it is! If you would like a copy please let me know!
Stampin' Up has come out with Clear Mount Stamps. What is that all about you ask?
Its the same great rubber That Stampin Up! already offers the only difference is that it has a cling image sticker that sticks to an acrylic clear block. So you can see where you are stamping!
I think this is a great idea and have already purchased the blocks and 3 stamp set too!
I used the new stamp set Vintage Vogue and Well Scripted here.

You can make this card by following Patty Bennetts tutorial. (check it out!)
I can't wait to play some more with my new stuff!

Christmas Cards

Here is the card I created for my Boss. I don't think he checks out my blog so I think it's safe! I used Taken with Teal and Chocolate Chip, a strip of the Holiday Lounge DP, and of course Dasher! (I love him). This is a larger card (5 1/4" x 8") so that all the staff could write inside!

This is the card I made for Vincent's Teacher.
I used Real Red and Chocolate Chip, Cocoa Specialty Paper, Plenty of Petals emboss folder and Dasher! Oh, and the ribbon is the real red polka dot.

And a few quick and simple tags.
Merry Christmas!

December's Stampin' Club Projects

Here are the cards we made this month.
Sorry the pictures aren't the greatest! We have yet to purchase a new camera.
Do you spend alot of money for a high tech one or just a small point and shoot one?
I'm leaning towards the small one, just because they are easier to throw in your purse and go!
Both cards use the stamp A Brand New Year from the holiday mini catalogue ending Jan. 4th. The first card I followed Patty Bennetts tutorial for Pop Up Window Sheet Card.

And the second card is an Easel Card.
I love this card and can't wait to make more! They are so easy to make.
It's basically just adding a card front to a card base. The card front is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
The card base is 4 1/4" x 11" score at 2 3/4" and again at 5". Fold card in half at the 5" score, like you making a standard card. Then fold the lower portion in, creating a tent.
Adhere the the card front to the lower potion of the card or tent. Then all you have to do is place a stop for the card to rest against (I used the star punch outs with a dimensional )

Sorry I took the picture on my dark table. Try clicking on the picture for a better view!

Thanks Ladies for a great time as usual! And for taking the time to come to class during this busy time of year!

November's Stampin' Club

Here is the Double Pocket Card we made this month.
The card holds a tag as well as a gift card.
We used the Holiday Lounge designer paper, Delightful Decorations stamp set, Ornament punch, and my favorite ribbon Whisper White Organza!
(Gift card not included!)

Our second card we used 6 pieces of the Holiday Lounge paper punched out using the Ornament punch. We folded them in half, glued them together, and attached to the card to make this cool 3D ornament.
My club ladies also participated in a Christmas card swap, and I must say these ladies are talented!!! I think they should be teaching the classes!!! (I will post all of their cards later). Happy Stampin'

Halloween Projects

I found some canvases at one of the dollar stores and thought they would make a great project.
So we painted then orange with acrylic paint, sprayed some sealer on them, and let them dry.
Then we used the decor elements Spooky Expressions (117568 for $6.95).
Rubbed those on, and then I sprayed them again with the sealer.
I think they turned out cute and was a great project to do with my son!
This cute little basket is made from the pillow box die!
(Not my design, something I found while surfing the net).
Hope you have a Haunting Halloween!

Birthday Invite and Digital Page

Here is the invitation I made for Vincent's 5th birthday.
I used a technique called sooting. You hold a piece of glossy card stock in the flame of a candle, (watch the edges catch on fire easily), till it goes black. Then take your stamp and lay it in the soot and pull it off.
The stamp takes off the soot and leaves the image. Your fingers can also take off the soot too!
Spray with an acrylic sealer and let dry.
Here's the inside. I used a top note die as a scroll.
I got myself the New Digital Studio.
Look how easy it is to make a Scrap page in the same colors as the invitation!
The Beware Pirates stamp set is not in the software, but maybe one day available as a digital download.
You can purchase the Digital Studio through me or my web site.
There is also digital downloads that you can purchase without having to own the full studio.
Stampin' Up! also offers custom printing or you can print it out on your home computer!
I will have more pages to share as I play with it a little more!

October's Stampin' Club Projects

We had fun creating this WOW card!
It's a Tri-Shutter card and it's easier than it looks!
Here it is open...
......And Closed.
Love that Dasher stamp!
Here is the Snow Globe card, that uses the new Hostess level 2 stamp set from the holiday mini.
And last a little 3x3 punched card.
We used the Large oval punch for the pumpkin.
The Word Window Punch for the stem, and the scallop edge punch to make the grass.
Have a great Thanksgiving Weekend!
