October's Stampin' Club Projects

Hope you're having a great Thanksgiving weekend!
This month we used my new favorite stamp set from the mini catalogue called "French Foliage". And I bought myself a brayer! Don't know why it took me 4 years as a demonstrator before I got this cool tool....but it did!
Anyway we used it to do this cool technique called Emerging Color.
First you sponge ink (more mustard, ridding hood red, tangerine tango, old olive, and soft suede) all over glossy card stock. Then you ink up your leaf in versa mark, stamp, pour clear emboss powder and heat. Once cool ink up your brayer in Chocolate chip ink and roll over image. Let dry and wipe off excess ink on the leaves. Fun technique!
Our next card used French foliage and Seasonal Sentiments stamp sets (from the mini). #2 leaves die for the Big Shot. Used some Log Cabin Smooch Spritz too! Oh and love the little brads that look like metal buttons from the Vintage Trinkets.
And Last we made a Treat holder out of the Candy Wrapper die from the new mini.
The word "Gratitude" is from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases. Spritzed this too with Log Cabin Smootch. We added a Lindt Chocolate Ball to the inside. (Wonder how many of those made it home?)
Thanks for a great time Ladies!
Happy Thanksgiving!
